Design Features
Patented design authentically duplicates the look of a wood corner piece
without the maintenance headaches. Prevents water penetration behind
siding at inside corners, window boxouts, etc. Provides an excellent
drainage plane not possible with usage of other corner alternatives to keep
water out of the home, preventing mold/mildew problems.
Installation
Install after framing is complete and felt paper or other weather resistive
barrier is installed. Start at highest point of inside corner, position product
so it runs straight down wall. If seam occurs position the second piece
under the first piece so water won't trap behind the wall. Install siding
butting into inside corner. Outside legs are self-flashing; however, additional moisture protection is necessary (House Wrap).
Material
3105-type aluminum sheet coated on both sides with Dymalar® 2000 paint
system that is specifically formulated for residential exterior applications.
