Design Features
Deflects water away from fascia board. Extended lip helps prevent shingle
damage.
Installation
After the fascia is installed drip edge flashing must be installed to the roof
sheathing overlapping the fascia board. Slip the wide, flat flange of the
material all the way under the first course of roof shingles. Use 1 1/4
galvanized roofing nails to attach the drip edge. To make a butt joint,
overlap the drip edge ends.
Material
3105-type aluminum sheet coated on both sides with Dymalar® 2000 paint
system that is specifically formulated for residential exterior applications.
