PRODUCT COMPOSITION: XtremeSeam^™ Tape is a unique blend of butyl, E.P.D.M. and polyisobutylene elastomers. The compound is carefully cross-linked to a level that will guarantee the desired creep resistance without allowing excessive rebound and recover. This holds the material’s energy level at the splice minimum and assures functionality. XtremeSeam^™ Tape maintains elasticity and splice integrity when subjected to severe ultraviolet rays, thermal shock, stagnant water, and extremely low-temperatures. XtremeSeam^™ Tape can be used to bond to some of the most commonly used insulation materials, in situations where the material’s extruded profile is altered to meet the specific requirement.
