TamlynMgO® Plus is a non-combustible structural sheathing panel that includes a layer of insulation, designed for both interior and exterior application. TamlynMgO® Plus is a fire-resistant, water-resistant, high-impact construction panel that is well-suited for wall, ceiling, flooring underlayment and exterior sheathing applications.

MATERIAL
MAGNESIUM OXIDE PANEL
MgO is a cementitious material for use as an alternative to OSB, Plywood, plaster or gypsum based substrates.

INSULATION
Graphite polystyrene rigid foam insulation that gives maximum efficiency, cost effectiveness and sustainability on construction projects. Comprised of many small pockets of air withing a polymer matrix containing graphite. The graphite reflects radiant heat energy like a mirror, increasing the material’s resitance to the flow of heat, or R-value.

DETAILS
• Tamlyn MgO meets or exceeds ICC ES AC386 and AC376 criteria
• The MgO matrix is reinforced by layers of fiberglass mesh for added strength and durability
• Doesn’t decay under exposure to moisture like wood and gypsum based products do
• The boards are water resistant and will not swell, deform or breakdown like other sheathing products
• Use standard water resistant barrier (WRB) to help prevent moisture intrusion into the building
• Tamlyn MgO panels use advanced chemistry for added durability and reduced chemical interactions. Panels may be cut and fastened with standard tools and fasteners. They may be used with both wood and metal framing
